1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
How can I begin as every day was wonderful. Probably he best walk was on our 3rd day when we walked up to the castle and then down and up again to the monastery and then on the way down walked with a herd of cows who seemed to enjoy our company.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Bring gaiters if you are to hike Mt Aragat, I found my walking poles invaluable, make sure you have good waterproof hiking boots - we had no rain so I can't speak to rainwear needs though I brought them with me.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Not really though we always took our food wrappers and other trash with us. Driving by van was essential but it's not environmentally positive!
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
For me 10 out of 10! Ara was a great guide who was very knowledgeable and always made sure I was safe.

Overall we enjoyed the trip and thank you for your organisation of the programme. For us the highlights were the religious sites, especially in Armenia and Georgia. The guides were excellent. The Ararat Hotel in Yerevan presented some problems for some of our party, as you know. For us we liked the position and felt the hotel had many positive points, but perhaps with a more hands on management things could be better. The restaurant we ate in the first evening and the food was good. Unfortunately it was closed the 2nd evening and for the rest of the time we found excellent restaurants nearby.
We did feel (and this is a personal thing) that the programme in Azerbaijan was a little heavy with some very long days (8.am to 6.pm) and thus gave little time for a restful evening. We realise that to see some of the sites it was necessary to start early and drive for several hours. As I say this is a personal consideration.
We do feel that we have seen many amazing sights and experienced so much. We have very fond memories of Yerevan and the happy family groups we saw enjoying the fountains. Everywhere we went we felt safe and found people friendly and helpful.
Once again, many thanks for all your work in organising the trip.
Please pass on our best wishes to Arthur in Yerevan.

Excellent programme. Guides were excellent especially Arthur in Yerevan and Sophie in Georgia. Personally felt that some of the days, especially in
Azerbaijan, were long giving little time to relax in the evening. This isn't helped by the high temps. We also felt that though the guide in
Azerbaijan was good, he gave too much detailed information which it was impossible to take in (his intro' on the mini bus from the border was 50 mins non
stop!). In all other aspects he was a good guide.

We had a fantastic tour in the 3 countries, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. The guides were superb, very knowledgeable and accommodating to the needs and interests of the group. In general, the hotels were good, though in some cases the 4 stars were not to the standard of 4 stars hotels in USA or Europe (weak WiFi, uncomfortable bed for 2 people, or breakfast could have been better); other hotels such as the ones in Jermuk, Yerevan and Baku were excellent. We had an excellent experience with the travel agency, Arara, they were very attentive and helpful during the planning of the trip and solving problems during the tour.

Good Morning. First of all thank you for a wonderful holiday. The tour was fantastic and was very well put together. We loved the variety. The making of bread and local sweets was such fun. The meal with the local family was a lovely way to end our holiday.
Tour guide in Armenia.
Avet was an amazing guide, he is extremely proud of Armenia and this is shown in his guiding. He was so friendly and helpful with a great sense of humour. His explanations were excellent and we really enjoyed his company. The first night he joined us for dinner and was an excellent companion. The next night he was not included in the booking which was a huge disappointment to us as the staff in the restaurant did not speak much English and it would have been helpful to have had our guide there.
Avet is an asset to your tours and we will return to Armenia because of his excellent tour guiding, friendliness, and pride in his country. Well done Ahmed and I wish you every success in your future endeavours.
Hotel in Armenia
Great hotel, very centrally located. Rooms clean and staff friendly.
Hotels in Georgia
Boombully
This hotel was delightful, ideally located. The rooms were clean and tidy and the staff friendly. Loved the family feel of this hotel and a lovely breakfast was prepared every morning.
Akhaltsikhe
This was a disaster. No one could seem to find an good option and said what about the one of the road Grand Palace. We were given rooms there but it was awful. This spoiled this part of the trip for us.
Kvareli Oaks
The rooms were immaculate and very tastefully decorated, with crisp white sheets and fluffy towels. The owner was so friendly and welcoming. I love the fact that this a family business, the owners father had created amazing pieces of woodwork which are placed strategically on the site, his mother has created a flower garden with herbs. The setting is tranquil and peaceful and a wonderful place to relax.
Thank you for choosing this wonderful place to stay. I would stay here again without hesitation.
Tour guide Georgia.
Tom was a very good tour guide and excellent driver. He was always there at the right time, very accommodating. He helped us find currency to go to Armenia with, advised where to change euros to lari, took us to local markets. The last day he waited at the market while we bought some last minute souvenirs, which was extremely kind of him. He went over and above his duties. He was informative and we enjoyed his company at meal times. He advised on local delicacies and what to eat. He too is very proud of Georgia and this shows in his tour guiding. I loved his honesty and his knowledge.
Tom is an asset to your tour company and I wish him every success.

Our Caucuses Tour of Armenia, Georgia & Azerbaijan was fabulous! We saw many amazing places & experienced so much. We had different drivers & guides in each country. They had there own individual strengths & areas of expertises. Anie, our guide in Armenia was excellent. Guides in Georgia & Azerbaijan were very good. Hotels were all good. Arara Tours organisation of tour was also good. They were accommodating to our needs & requests. We would recommend them.

Hello Rima
Thank you for your message, I just got back home and got used with time. We enjoyed our trip very much, we liked the flexibility of a small group, the communication was been very efficient with the central office and our guide made every effort to make it a memorable experience.
The only suggestion I would make would be to collect dietary preferences ahead of time and for the meals included to give a few options for people that are vegetarian, or have other dietary restrictions.
Will recommend your company to friends and family and maybe in the future I might come back to that part of the world.
sincerely yours

Araratour was outstanding (five stars) in every aspect. They were responsive, helpful and flexible in making arrangements via internet prior to our arrival in Yerevan, and the tour itself couldn't have been better. We enjoyed every moment of it. Thanks again, Tatev!

We really enjoyed our trip to Caucasus and want to thank Rima from Arara tour agency for such a great experience and well-organized trip. They were very flexible and took into consideration all of my needs and wishes. The guides Arthur (Armenia), Tazo (Gerogia) and Altay (Azerbaijan) were excellent; they were always on time and provided us with interesting information about the sights we visited. The cars were very clean and comfortable. And special thanks to our drivers Hayk (Armenia), Sandro (Gerogia) and Alex (Azerbaijan). The hotels are much better than 3* hotels in other countries we visited. One thing I would reconsider is location of hotel in Tbilisi. It was in the center of the city, but there wasn't many restaurants close to the hotel so we had to walk a little bit to have dinner. These 3 countries are worth visiting and our trip got more delightful with the delicious cuisine of each country. We will not hesitate to book again with Arara tour.

We have had a wonderful trip in all 3 countries. Caucasus is the best place to discover. I felt that the holiday was well organized, And I enjoyed every minute of my trip. There were amazing sights to see, the hospitality was outstanding and we were well looked after. We had a guide for each country. All the 3 guides of Armenia, Georgian and Azerbaijan were very knowledgeable and very professional. The vehicles were comfortable and safe with AC Systems. Hotels are very fine with great locations. Especially I liked the Apricot hotel in Yerevan.
Highly recommend this region with assistance of wonderful Arara team!!!
