Silk Road Tour to 5 Stans and the Caucasus

Our Silk Road tour was truly life-enriching and exceeded all our expectations. Starting in Kazakhstan, we were captivated by the stunning natural beauty. The architectural wonders of Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva in Uzbekistan were awe-inspiring, showcasing the rich history of the Silk Road. In Armenia, we appreciated exploring one of the world’s earliest Christian countries. The journey to Georgia's wine region, Kakheti, was a highlight. Sampling local wines and wandering through sun-drenched vineyards was a memorable experience. The Mud Volcanoes in Gobustan Reserve were another unique marvel. This 31-day adventure through Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia offered a fascinating blend of cultures and traditions. From vibrant bazaars and UNESCO sites to delicious Armenian and Georgian cuisine, the tour provided a deep dive into the region’s rich heritage. Arara’s exceptional planning made this an unforgettable journey.

Overall the entire tour was really great, especially traveling with a young 7 year old, we found the guides, the drivers, the entire set up to be very relaxed, accommodative and easy going.

The quality of transportation, and the knowledge and friendliness of the guides was very good.

The tour in Central Asia and Caucasus was amazing in terms of cultural experiences, amazing sights, so much to learn of the rich history and art and not forgetting the variety of food that we enjoyed so much!
