TRIP REVIEWS (29)

Ian Arthur

Hi Ani

The last part of my trip in Armenia was my favourite partly due to the excellence of our guide but also because of the varied scenery and also the fascination of the history. I really enjoyed the opera and the puppet show as well as a church service and a second visit to the Natural History Museum and I think guides should point such Things, out. It would have been nice in Baku and Tbilisi to have had at least an afternoon off I thought the days were a bit full of seeing another monastery, church or mosque. I did a 15 day tour of the the three Baltic republics with G adventures which I thought had a less frenetic pace which l Iiked, the Arava lunch was great and a typical regional meal for the group together would have been good. Personally I thought our three star accommodation was good it would have been better for all the guests to be in the same class. All the guides were good except the first guide was a bit underprepared. Overall the trip was excellent . I don’t see a need for a guide in a museum or art gallery in Yerevan as the signage s excellent and I would prefer to see these on my own with more lack of guide time but this may just be me. My favourite day was my last day. The tour of the carpet museum was great however.

Thanks Ian Arthur

Dear Florena, we are back home safely, thank you for checking! It was a truly lovely trip, made even more special by the wonderful people I met along the way. We enjoyed exploring the lesser-known, hidden gems of these countries, places that aren't typically on the tourist map but are full of charm and character. It was a refreshing and unforgettable experience. Thank you for your efforts. Looking forward to traveling to the Central Asia Stans with you!

Taking this tour with Arara exceeded all expectations. The itinerary was perfectly crafted, taking us through a series of stunning landscapes in each country we visited. Every stop offered something unique, from rolling hills to majestic mountains and tranquil lakes.

What truly made the experience special were the guides. Their knowledge was not just informative, but deep and genuine. They shared insights into the history, culture, and natural wonders of each region with passion and enthusiasm.

We did encounter a small hiccup when there was a delay with transportation on one of the days, but the company handled it efficiently. The team was quick to communicate and arranged an alternative solution, ensuring the rest of the day ran smoothly without affecting our plans. Their professionalism and promptness made all the difference.
