TRIP REVIEWS (24)

Jason and Brooke Stainfield

Dear Arara Team and our agent Hasmik,

Just wanted to drop you a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our tour across Central Asia and the Caucasus. It was such a unique mix of cultures, landscapes, and history — and your team managed it all beautifully.

The guides were great, provided us with lots of history about the countries. I wish we had only one guide in Uzbekistan, not one guide per city which would have made our trip smoother. However, the guides in each city were good and knowledgeable.

Muhammad in Samarkand was a favorite — so passionate about the Silk Road history, and he even helped us find a beautiful handmade carpet at a fair price. Maria in Kyrgyzstan took us off the beaten path for a short walk by Issyk-Kul Lake that turned out to be a highlight of the trip! Serdar in Turkmenistan was simply wonderful, very caring, absolutely great at his job. And we can’t forget Raffi in Armenia — the best guide we have ever had.

Our friends and family are also interested in the same trip with you. They will contact you shortly. Hope to travel with you again someday!

Warm regards,
Jason and Brooke Stainfield

Good morning Florena,

We just wanted to say thank you for the incredible journey through the 5 Stans and the Caucasus. It truly was the trip of a lifetime for us we never thought would be that memorable.

Every country brought something unique — and the local guides really made the experience. In Uzbekistan, Dilshod was a walking encyclopedia — so knowledgeable and full of humor. In Kyrgyzstan, Maria was absolutely lovely and made sure we felt at home everywhere. And when we got to Georgia, Ia brought so much energy and passion that we felt like we were traveling with a friend. Vardan in Armenia was also terrific, very knowledgeable and accommodating to our certain needs.

There was one small mix-up with our luggage not arriving in Tashkent on time, but your team followed up immediately, and the hotel staff had it delivered by the next morning — it was handled really professionally.

We are so glad we chose your company, thank you again! Looking forward to our next trip with you, guys.

All our best,
Barbara and Michael Fordham

Dear Hayku and Arara Team,

Our group of five just got back home and we’re still buzzing with memories from the amazing 5 Stans and Caucasus tour you arranged for us!

Everything was really well-organized - smooth border crossings though sometimes long especially the Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan border crossing and no clue why they still require a covid test, the hotels were comfortable sometimes even 4* rather than 3*, and fantastic guides who brought each place to life. We particularly loved the food experiences in Uzbekistan, Georgia and Georgia, the stunning mountain sceneries in Armenia.

The tour overall terrific despite some long drives, so every minute was worth it. Thanks for keeping in touch with us during the whole trip to make sure we are happy, we felt under care all the time and in good hands.

We’ll be recommending Arara Tour to all our travel-loving friends!

Cheers,
Karen, Emily, Dave, Mark and Lily
