Museum of Russian Art

The Museum of Russian Art thanks to the collection of Professor Aram Yakovlevich Abramyan, the Hero of Socialist Labor and Honored Scientist.

Thanks to Professor Abrahamyan, the Russian Art Museum owns the works of more than 120 Russian artists of the XIX and XX. The expositions in the museum are grouped according to themes: “Union of Russian Artists”, “World of Art”, “Blue Rose”, “Jack of Diamonds”, “Donkey’s Tail” and others. The collection of the museum includes paintings, graphics, works of decorative and craft art – furniture, porcelain, glass, bronze, as well as scenography.  The whole collection represents the brightest period of the history of Russian art the beginning of the XX century.

The museum features works of such famous artists as V. Serov, M. Vrubel, M. Nesterov, K. Korovin, N. Goncharova, P. Konchalovsky, E. Lansere, R. Falk and others.

The museum works every day except Monday. The museum is open from 10:30 to 16: 45 from Tuesday to Saturday, and from 11:00 to 15:30 on Sunday. The ticket price to the museum is 500 AMD. The museum also organizes excursions in foreign languages (the price for the excursion is 2000 AMD).
