Day 1 – Friday

  • After your arrival in Kutaisi airport, you will be transferred to the hotel and have a free day.

Day 2 – Saturday

  • Drive from Kutaisi to Tbilisi. On the way, you will visit Mtskheta, an ancient town and the first capital of Georgia. Nowadays, Mtskheta is represented as a museum-town and is under the protection of UNESCO.
  • Climb up the hill to Jvari Monastery. From the top, you will enjoy the impressing views to Mtskheta and Kura and Aragvi rivers.
  • The excursion will continue to the main cathedral of Georgia, Svetitskhoveli. That is the first Christian church in Georgia.
  • Continuation of the tour to Tbilisi.
  • City tour around Tbilisi (Metekhi, Bridge of Peace, Narikala Fortress, Botanical Garden, Sulfur baths)

Day 3 – Sunday

  • The day will start with a trip to Ananuri Fortress – the defensive fortress of the feudal era.
  • Stop in the famous Georgian resort Gudauri.
  • Tour continues to Sour waters of Vedza. The place offers picturesque scenes.
  • Climb up the hill to the Gergeti Church located at an altitude of 2170 m. Indescribable beauty will be opened from the top.
  • Dariali Gorge and the church of transfiguration
  • Drive back to Tbilisi

Day 4 – Tuesday

  • Transfer from Sadakhlo border to Armenia.
  • Visit to Sanahin and Haghpat Monasteries both listed in UNESCO World Heritage List
  • Head to Lake Sevan one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world located at an altitude of 1900 meters above sea.
  • The trip will continue to Yerevan – the ancient capital of Armenia.
  • Check in at the hotel

Day 5 – Wednesday

  • Drive to the scenic Azat River Canyon to Geghard Cave Monastery– the unique architectural masterpiece known for its impressive rock architecture (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
  • Trip continues to Garni village, where is located the Hellenistic-inspired Garni temple (77 AD)
  • Evening city tour around Yerevan – 2798 years old capital of Armenia

Day 6 – Thursday

  • The day will start with a trip to the religious center of all Armenians – Echmiadzin town. Here you will have an excursion to the first Christian Church in the world. Echmiadzin Cathedral is listed as a UNESCO site.
  • The next excursion will be held around Gyumri – the second largest city in Armenia.

Day 7 – Friday

  • In the morning you will head to Bavra village for passing Armenian – Georgian border.
  • Drive to Vardzia- the cave town of the Golden Age. It was built during the reign of the king George III nad his daughter Queen Tamar. This labyrinth of ancient caves is one of the most popular touristic sights in the country.
  • The last excursion will be in Rabat Fortress – the huge recently renovated fortress in Akhaltsikhe town.
  • Drive to Kutaisi

Day 8 – Saturday

  • Transfer to the airport, departure
