Day 1 – Arrival in Kutaisi – Transfer to the hotel

Day 2 – Transfer to Tbilisi – Tbilisi city tour

  • Transfer to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia
  • Tbilisi city tour. The great opportunity to feel the capital city of Georgia where interlace ancient culture and up-to-date trends. The tour includes:
  • Sameba – the biggest church in Tbilisi. Modern Symbol of Georgian Orthodox tradition
  • Trip to the historical area and visit the Assumption Church (Metekhi church) and the statuary of the Establisher of Tbilisi, The king Vakhtang I Gorgasali, located on the picturesque hill;
  • Bridge of Peace – designed by a well-known Italian architect; it is one of the most famous landmarks of the city;
  • Chardin Street, a cozy street named after the French traveler Jean Chardin. The street has an architecture resembling Paris and is full of cozy cafes, boutiques, and eye-catching art galleries;
  • Excursion to the sulfuric baths – famous royal bath complex (XVII-XIX cc.), standing on the
    warm natural sulfur springs. That is one of the main attractions of the Old Town
  • The ancient fortress overlooking Tbilisi, which was established in 4th century AD. You will reach the fortress by cable vehicle. At the top, a spectacular view of the whole city opens;

Day 3 – Ananuri Fortress – Gudauri – Sour waters of Vedza – Trinity of Gergeti – Dariali Gorge – Tbilisi

  • Kazbegi tour. Highland region located at the border with Russia with its unique views and nature, full of ancient pagan legends mixed with lately incoming Christian traditions
  • Start driving to Ananuri Fortress – a well-preserved castle on the shore of the Zhinvali Reservoir, the former defensive fortress of the feudal era. To reach Ananuri you need about 1 hour. You will stay there for 30 minutes.
  • Gudauri, an amazing place full of green grass and flowers summers and snow winters
  • Reach Kazbegi and visit Gergeti Trinity Church-one of Georgia’s must see places. The church itself, is dated back to the 14th Hidden in white clouds and fog it will enchant you. From the point opens breathtaking landscapes on Stepantsminda village.
  • Visiting Stepantsminda, a picturesque village, administrative center of Kazbegi region

Day 4 – Armenian-Georgian border – Haghpat and Saghmosavank Monasteries – Yerevan

  • Transfer to Armenia-Georgia border Sadakhlo.
  • Visit Haghpat Monastery, which is listed by UNESCO as World Heritage Site. Admire at beautiful landscapes of lush forests, the rocky deep canyon of Debed river and quaint little villages scattered along the canyon.
  • Stop at Saghmosavank Monastery located atop the yawning Kasakh River Gorge.
  • Continue the road to Yerevan. Check in at the hotel.

Day 5 – Geghard Cave Monastery – Garni Temple – City tour in Yerevan

  • Drive to the scenic Azat River Canyon to Geghard Cave Monastery– the unique architectural masterpiece known for its impressive rock architecture (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
  • Trip continues to Garni village, where is located the Hellenistic-inspired Garni temple (77 AD)
  • Evening city tour around Yerevan – 2800 years old capital of Armenia.

Day 6 – Yerevan – Lake Sevan – Dilijan – Tbilisi

  • After breakfast, you will start your day to the North. Gegharkunik Province is best known for amazing Lake Sevan. It is one is highest freshwater lakes in the world located at an altitude of 1900 meters above the sea level.
  • We continue our trip further north to Lori Province. Here we have a stop at the cozy resort town of Dilijan known for its arts and crafts as well as picturesque lush nature and healing air.
  • After visiting Dilijan the tour will continue to the Armenian-Georgian border. Having passed the customs another 3-hour drive to Tbilisi takes us to the capital of Georgia.

Day 7 – Mtskheta Tour – Kutaisi

  • After the breakfast, tour to Mtskheta – beautifully renovated town belonging to the 2nd half of the 1st millennium BC, the first capital of Georgia. Nowadays, Mtskheta represents museum-city and is under the protection of UNESCO World Heritage.
  • Jvari Monastery was built in the 6th From the point opens charming view on the entire city and the confluence of two rivers: Mtkvari and Aragvi.
  • Svetitskhoveli Temple – a masterpiece of the Early Middle Ages, Svetitskhoveli is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It is currently the second largest church building in Georgia, after the Holy Trinity Cathedral.
  • Transfer to Kutaisi and overnight.
