Dear Ani, I am at home. This was my first time in Central Asia, and the experience far exceeded my expectations. The mixture of ancient Silk Road cities, vibrant bazaars was simply stunning. My favorite part was spending a night in a yurt by Issyk Kul Lake. Maria, our guide, was calm, knowledgeable, SHe took the time to explain traditions and history, and was patient with all our questions and needs. Ani, our tour manager kept us informed every step of the way. Her professionalism made a potentially stressful situation easy to handle. Overall, this trip was a great less-explored part of the world. The combination of well-planned logistics, warm guides, and authentic experiences made it a journey which is unforgettable,
We had been planning our Central Asia adventure with Arara Tours after we had finished our tour in Caucauses with Arara. The Central Asia tour is probably hard for us. We didn’t know much about the region beforehand, and organizing a multi-country tour seemed complicated at first. but after seeing their professionalism in the Caucuses tour, we have decided that we need to book it with Arara.
Hasmik, our tour coordinator at Arara, was incredibly helpful from the beginning. She guided us through the entire process with care and patience and stayed in touch even during the trip to make sure everything was going smoothly. From start to finish, the experience was unforgettable. Our guides throughout the journey were kind, professional, and very knowledgeable. The only part that was a bit difficult was the border crossing into Turkmenistan, where we had to wait for document checks. It took some time, but everything was handled professionally by our guide and the Arara team.
This trip gave us so much more than we expected. We’re already planning our next adventure with Arara , this time to Mongholia, which has been on our bucket list for a long time!
Traveling through five Central Asian countries in one trip sounds hard, but Arara’s team made it easy and fun. The trip had a good mix of famous Silk Road cities like Samarkand and Bukhara, and beautiful nature places like the Seven Lakes and Issyk Kul Lake. The Darvaza gas crater was amazing. Our guide Timur was the best part of the trip. He loves the region and told us interesting stories at every stop. He was very kind and made sure everyone was comfortable. He even helped with taking photos and kept the group happy. The tour manager, Ani,is very kind and helpful. She took care of hotels, and all the details. She answered our questions quickly and kept us updated. The only problem was a very long drive through the roads. Some people were tired. But we stopped often, enjoyed the beautiful views, and the bus was very comfortable, so it was okay. If you want an exciting trip with history, culture, and nature, this tour is great.
