During the tour you will stroll along the vibrant streets of Tashkent, admire the magnificent monuments of Samarkand, plunge into the historical past of Bukhara, and explore the unique desert fortress city of Khiva. In Nukus, you will learn about the fascinating history and culture of the Karakalpak region and visit one of Central Asia’s most remarkable museums. You will travel through the scenic Nurata Mountains, experience the peaceful atmosphere of traditional villages such as Sentyab and Asraf, and enjoy warm hospitality from local families. Day 2-Tashkent City Tour

This day you will have a full sightseeing tour in Tashkent. Tashkent is the largest city of Uzbekistan, a city of straight, wide streets and avenues, parks, squares, gardens, and fountains. During the tour you will visit Khastimom complex (KaffalShashiyMasoleum, Barak Khan Medressah, Library with holy Koran), KukaldoshMedressah, Chorsu Bazaar, History Museum (closed on Mondays), Independence Square, Amir Temur Square. In the evening you will take HY-17(20:00-21:40) flight to Nukus.

Day 3-Nukus City Tour

After breakfast you will have a full day city tour in Nukus. Nukus is the capital of Karakalpakstan autonomous republic. You will visit its most famous sight - unique Savitsky Museum. The museum is a source of pride not only for Uzbekistan but for all of Central Asia. Museum's collection possesses over 90,000 exhibits, including a collection of Russian avant-garde artists, the art of ancient Khorezm and even excellent copies of some exhibits of Louvre in Paris. According to experts, collection of the museum is the best art collections in the Asian region and has the world's second-largest collection of Russian avant-garde. British newspaper The Guardian called the museum "one of the outstanding museums in the world”. At the end of the tour you will visit Gaurkala and Mizdakhan ruins.

Day 4-Nukus - Chilpak - Ayazkala / Toprakkala (150km) - Khiva (90km)

After breakfast you will have a trip to Khiva via Chilpak ruins (Zoroastrian temple “Tower of Silence”), Ayazkala and Toprakkala ruins.

Day 5-Khiva City Tour

This day you will explore Khiva - a stunning museum city and UNESCO-listed Silk Road oasis in western Uzbekistan. You will visit KaltaMinar, Muhammad Aminkhan Medressah, Kunya Ark, Muhammad Rakhimkhan Medressah, Juma Mosque and Minaret, Pahlavan Mahmud Masoleum, Islamkhodja Medressah, Toshhovli Palace, Allakulikhan Medressah and Ceravanserai.

Day 6-Khiva - Bukhara

After breakfast you will head to Bukhara through Kyzylkum desert. Caravans on the Great Silk Road carrying porcelain and spices used the same route for hundreds of years. You will arrive in Bukhara late in the afternoon. Check-in to the hotel. *As the cafés and restaurants on the way are basic and offer limited menus, you may wish to take a packed lunch on this trip (your hotel or guide can help you arrange this the day before). **Some parts of the road are not in the best condition.

Day 7-Bukhara City Tour

This day you will have a full city tour of Bukhara. Bukhara is famous as one of Central Asia's oldest cities and a Silk Road trading hub. It is known for its more than 140 medieval monuments, rich Islamic scholarship, and traditional Central Asian arts. You will visit Samanid’s Mausoleum, Chashma Ayub, citadel Ark, Bolo-Hauz Mosque, Kalyan complex including Kalyan Mosque, Kalyan Minaret and Mirarab Medressah, Trade domes, Abdulazizkhan and Ulugbek Medressahs, Nadir Devonbegi Medressah, complex, Lyabi-Khauz complex.

Day 8-Bukhara - Gijduvan (65 km) - Nurata (120 km) - Yangikazgan (70 km))

Your tour day will start with a trip to Gijduvan town known for its centuries-old ceramic traditions. Here, you will visit a local ceramist family and discover the artistry passed down through generations. The journey will continue to Navoi. On the way you will have a stop to explore the fascinating ruins of the ancient Rabat Malik Caravanserai, once an important resting place for Silk Road travelers. The route will continue to Nurata, a peaceful town nestled near the shores of the beautiful Aydarkul Lake. Nurata is famous for its holy spring and ruins of the fortress. According to the old traditions the Alexander the Great built a small fortress here to watch the enemy from the north. Upon arrival in Yangikazgan, you will enjoy camel riding within yurt camp (about 10 minutes).

Day 9-Yangikazgan - Aydarkul Lake (8 km) - Sentyab / Asraf village (70 km)

After breakfast you will enjoy the beauties of Aydarkul Lake – an amazing turquoise oasis located in the endless desert of Kyzylkum. Then you will drive to Sentyab/Asraf village. Upon arrival you will start a guided tour through the village and enjoy the view of cozy buildings and watch the traditional livelihood activities of the mountain dwellers. You will also explore the beautiful Kardvan valley. Then you will relax on the tapchan or supa under the walnut trees and enjoy the fresh air. After the rest those who wish can participate or watch the preparation of traditional dishes.

Day 10-Sentyab/Asraf village - Samarkand

In the morning you will head to Samarkand. Samarkand is one of the most famous historical cities in Uzbekistan. Caravans of the Great Silk Road once passed through here. After arrival you will have a half-day city tour with visits to Gur-Emir Masoleum and Registan Square.

Day 11-Samarkand City Tour

This day will be devoted to fully exploration of treasures of Smarkand. The tour will start with a visit to Siyob bazaar - one of the most visited places in the city. It is a center of live and trade. Here you will find vegetables, fruits, nuts, local hand-made products like dried fruits and much more. Local kind-hearted vendors allow visitors to taste anything they want before buying. The further tour program includes Bibihanym Mosque, Shahi Zinda Necropolis, Ulugbek Observatory, Afrosiyob Museum and ruins.

Day 12-Samarkand - Shakhrisabz - Termez

After breakfast you will have a trip to Termez via Shakhrisabz - one of the most beautiful and colorful cities of Uzbekistan. Shakhrisabz is birthplace of Great Amir Temur. Here you will visit the ruins of AkSaray Palace, Dorut Saodat complex (Khazratiy Imam Mosque), Jahongir mausoleum, DorutTillovat complex: Gumbazi-Seyidon, KokGumbaz Mosque. In the afternoon you will continue your trip to Termez.

Day 13-Termez - Tashkent

After breakfast you will have a city tour of Termez. It is one of the most ancient cities in Central Asia, founded more than 2,500 years ago. You will visit Archelogical Museum, Hakim AtTermeziy mausoleum, Zurmala Tower, Fayyoztepa, Kampirtepa. Evening flight HY-66 (18:05-19:15) to Tashkent awaits you at the end of the day.

Day 14-Tashkent - Kokand (240 km, 4 hours) - Rishtan (60 km) - Margilan (30 km)

After breakfast, you will have a trip to Kokand, one of Uzbekistan’s historic cities situated in the western area of the Fergana Valley. Kokand is the oldest city on the Great Silk Road. It is home to magnificent monuments and majestic madrassas. During the city tour, you will explore the impressive Khudoyar Khan Palace, the centuries-old Juma Mosque, and the Dahmai Shahon necropolis, also known as the Tomb of the Kings. The tour will continue to Rishtan, known for its distinctive ceramic traditions, where you will meet a local potter’s family and learn about their craftsmanship. Later, you will visit the famous Yodgorlik Silk Factory and stroll through the vibrant local bazaar in Margilan. In the evening you will have a transfer to Ferghana.

Day 15-Andijan - Tashkent

After breakfast you will drive to Andijan - the birthplace of the famous Uzbek poet, founder of the Mughal dynasty, and military leader and ruler Babur. The city, once located on the Great Silk Road, is rich in archaeological sites and historical monuments. During the city tour you will visit Jome Mosque and Medressah, local bazaar, and Muhammad Zahiriddin Babur’s Masoleum. After lunch you will take afternoon train (15:15-20:45) to Tashkent.
