After registration at the hotel, you will have a tour to the amazing city Yerevan – ancient and in the same time modern city, which is older than the eternal city Rome. The evidence of Yerevan birth (stone cuneiform) was founded during the excavation in the mid-century of the 20th and stored in the History Museum of Armenia. Nowadays, Yerevan is an extraordinary city with fantastically fresh colours. The first stop is Matenadaran, which is unique research institute and museum of ancient manuscripts. The excursion continues along the hill of Tsitsernakaberd, where the 1915 Armenian Genocide Memorial Monument and Museum are located. Amazing and beautiful views of Mount Ararat and Yerevan City are opened from the hill. The next stop is Yerevan Cognac Factory Ararat, which has kept traditions of legendary cognac production since 1887. A wonderful end of the first day will be the night, held in the restaurant "Yerevan Nights". Accompanied by an excellent colorful show program, the pleasant murmur of Hrazdan cool water and the caressing sound music will make our evening unforgettable.

This day you will visit the monastery of Geghard, where the Holy Lance was kept. According to the Bible the Roman legionnaire pierced by this lance the body of Jesus Christ. The monastery is situated on the slope of an almost closed amphitheater with sheer cliffs, smashing into the blue sky, surrounded by harsh and majestic nature. Geghard Monastery has majestic inside: twilight stone halls, carved into the rock, walls with carvings and quiet murmur wafting from the source wall give a particularly mysterious view. Many pilgrims come here to dial holy water through believing in its healing properties. Tour continues to the pagan temple of Garni, dedicated to the God of sun “Mithra”. Garni Temple is picturesquely situated on a high rocky cliff. On three sides, it is surrounded by deep gorges, picturesque vertical rocks and fancy sheer stones. Lunch will be served in the fresh air, where you will see how to bake Armenian traditional bread “Lavash”. Returning to Yerevan, you will visit Vernissage (a souvenir market under the open air), where thousand various souvenirs and works of local masters can be found. A wonderful end of day will be “Armenian National Show”. In this bright atmosphere highly professional dancers, choreographers and musicians are involved. During the two-hour show you will not only enjoy the entertainment program, but also taste dishes of national cuisine.

In this day we will start from the product market. Here you will have a huge selection of vegetables, fruits, potherbs, spices, flavoring, herbs, nuts, dried fruits and other local products. Once being in the market, you will feel peculiar atmosphere and fascinating bright colours of bazaar. Our next stop is Echmiadzin – shrine of all Armenians, where the residence of the Catholicos and the Supreme Patriarch of the Armenian Apostolic Church is located. In this city the main is the Cathedral – the ancient Christian church in Armenia, one of the firsts all around Christian world. According to the legend, the first stone, the foundation of this church, was established in 301 by Gregory the Illuminator – the first catholicos of Armenian Church. The internal painting of Cathedral, completed in the 18th century, is eye-catching with Byzantine luxury. The museum of “Treasure chest of Echmiadzin” is situated in the eastern part of Cathedral, where unique exhibits are presented. One of the most famous treasures is Saint Geghard (lance), a piece of Noah's Ark, as well as many other valuable artifacts and works of art. Lunch will be served in the organisation of “Cross of Armenian Unity”. This is educational and cultural institution for children, where they teach crafts, graphical and theatrical arts in a traditional ethnographic environment. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport.
