TRIP REVIEWS (6)

My husband and I had a Wonderful time in Georgia & Armenia on the Private Tour arranged by ARARA Tour.

After Research online I've contacted Arara Tour for information. Sati Ohanyan Senior Tour Manager immediately responded to my inquiry and made a suggested Itinerary to our visit. We were able to make our payment online with my AMX card few days prior to our trip without any issues.

After arrival to Tbilisi, Georgia late at night without our luggage ( the Airline left our luggage in Atlanta, Georgia) there was an issue I wanted to communicate with Sati. To my extreme suprise, she not only responded rapidly - she also made contact with others to make adjustments to our requests for the next day!

Our Georgian Tour Guides - Tazo and Sandro were both extremely competent, knowledgeable, friendly and with great commend of English. They were both very delightful and my husband and I considered they are our Friends now.

We are also extremely grateful for Raffi to be our Tour Guide in Armenia.

We've traveled worldwide and he is one of the best Tour Guide ever!

He speaks perfect English ( he was educated in UK with a Law Degree) and he was Attentive, Kind, Intelligent and Extremely Knowledgeable about most subjects! My husband have some limited vision issues in dark places ( example: caves, dark indoor monastery), and he was extremely kind to assist him.

He definitely is a Rare Gem and An Great Asset to ARARA Tour Company.

I Highly Recommend ARARA Tour for your visits to the Caucasia Region!

We have happily returned to Switzerland after spending 2 weeks in Armenia and Georgia. Arara travel agency in Armenia organized the whole tour for us starting from airport pick-up when we arrived. I can now say that everything was thoroughly taken care of, every detail was well-thought.
Hotels
We stayed at the nicest hotels with professional staff and amazing views. Most of all we loved the atmosphere and breakfasts at Tufenkian Yerevan and Dilijan hotels. Gino Wellness Rabath in Akaltsikhe was another highlight of the trip. We enjoyed the spa there at its finest.
Guides
We had 2 amazing guides in 2 countries – Ara in Armenia, and Tazo in Georgia. Both of them were passionate fans of their countries and could give all the feels to us. They were quite punctual and took good care of us. We also tried this delicious fish near Sevan lake which Ara recommended.

Overall we are satisfied with the trip and will surely recommend Arara to our friends.

Good Morning. First of all thank you for a wonderful holiday. The tour was fantastic and was very well put together. We loved the variety. The making of bread and local sweets was such fun. The meal with the local family was a lovely way to end our holiday.

Tour guide in Armenia.

Avet was an amazing guide, he is extremely proud of Armenia and this is shown in his guiding. He was so friendly and helpful with a great sense of humour. His explanations were excellent and we really enjoyed his company. The first night he joined us for dinner and was an excellent companion. The next night he was not included in the booking which was a huge disappointment to us as the staff in the restaurant did not speak much English and it would have been helpful to have had our guide there.

Avet is an asset to your tours and we will return to Armenia because of his excellent tour guiding, friendliness, and pride in his country. Well done Ahmed and I wish you every success in your future endeavours.

Hotel in Armenia

Great hotel, very centrally located. Rooms clean and staff friendly.

Hotels in Georgia
Boombully

This hotel was delightful, ideally located. The rooms were clean and tidy and the staff friendly. Loved the family feel of this hotel and a lovely breakfast was prepared every morning.

Akhaltsikhe

This was a disaster. No one could seem to find an good option and said what about the one of the road Grand Palace. We were given rooms there but it was awful. This spoiled this part of the trip for us.

Kvareli Oaks
The rooms were immaculate and very tastefully decorated, with crisp white sheets and fluffy towels. The owner was so friendly and welcoming. I love the fact that this a family business, the owners father had created amazing pieces of woodwork which are placed strategically on the site, his mother has created a flower garden with herbs. The setting is tranquil and peaceful and a wonderful place to relax.
Thank you for choosing this wonderful place to stay. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Tour guide Georgia.

Tom was a very good tour guide and excellent driver. He was always there at the right time, very accommodating. He helped us find currency to go to Armenia with, advised where to change euros to lari, took us to local markets. The last day he waited at the market while we bought some last minute souvenirs, which was extremely kind of him. He went over and above his duties. He was informative and we enjoyed his company at meal times. He advised on local delicacies and what to eat. He too is very proud of Georgia and this shows in his tour guiding. I loved his honesty and his knowledge.
Tom is an asset to your tour company and I wish him every success.
