The house-museum of the great poet is located in his native village of Zangakatun. The writer is buried next to the house. The tombstone is placed in the “Garden of Eden”.
The house-museum of Paruyr Sevak is unique storage of the writer’s heritage. Here are photographs, documents, manuscripts, books and, of course, personal things of the writer. The museum also holds school notebooks, a certificate and diplomas of Paruyr Sevak. One of the corners of the museum is decorated in the exact way they used to in the writer’s office in Yerevan.
Expositions are displayed in the foyer of the museum. A fresco of the artist Sarkis Muradyan covers the whole wall of the foyer. The fresco depicts the poet Paruyr Sevak himself, his contemporaries Shiraz, William Saroyan, Silva Kaputikyan, Hamo Sahyan and others, his wife Nino Menagarishvili, parents and sons.
