Cafesjian Center for the Arts

Cafesjian Center for the Arts or CCA is unique storage of the pieces of contemporary art in the center of Yerevan. It is located in and around the Cascade – one of the most popular monuments in Yerevan. The museum was founded by a businessman and philanthropist Gerard Cafesjian on the basis of his personal collection.

The grand opening of the center took place in 2009 when over 5000 unique exhibits of famous artists were presented to residents of the capital and its guests. The Cafesjian Museum of Art occupies about 11 thousand square meters, which includes the museum itself, an event hall, a shop, and the sculpture garden with exhibits. The Cafesjian Sculpture Garden occupies the front territory of the Cascade where many unique works by contemporary sculptors are exhibited.

Here you will have a chance to see works of such popular artists as Yaroslav Brychtovoy and Stanislav Libensky, glass artists Bogumil Iliya, Dale Chihuli, Jaromir Rybak, Bertil Walen, Marc Peyzer, Hiroshi Yamano, artists of painting and sculpture Arshil Gorki, Gernando Botero, Linn Chedvek and others.

On the ground floor, there is an information center, which provides information on permanent and current exhibitions and coming events. Exposition halls occupy the first 4 floors. On the top floor, there is a jazz club.
