Day 1 - Arrival - Yerevan City Tour

Day 2 - Matenadaran - Echmiadzin - Unity Cross - Yerevan

Day 3 - Geghard - Garni - Sevan - Yerevan

Garni - Geghard - Sevan
After the breakfast at the hotel, you will have a trip to the scenic canyon of the Azat River. The XIII century Geghard Cave Monastery is located deep at the bottom of the canyon and is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The monastery is partially carved from the adjacent cliffs that surround it. The tour will continue by car to Garni village, where the Hellenistic-inspired Garni temple lies. Garni’s complex also possesses a royal bath which exhibits a fascinating hypocaust along with a well-preserved original mosaic tiling. Dinner will be in Garni village accompanied with traditional bread lavash baking demonstration. Then you will head to Lake Sevan, the “blue pearl of Armenia” and one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world at 1900 meters above the sea level. The stunning hilltop view of the azure lake framed by the surrounding mountains amazes and inspires its visitors.

Guide: All was perfect!
Car: Too large car couldn’t be driven anywhere. We opened the window because air-conditioning didn’t work effectively. That is why my health condition was worsened.
Hotel: The price matches the quality.
What did you like most in your trip? Interesting and qualified tour was organised. Greetings to guide Armine!
What didn’t you like in your trip? Large group of people was inconvenient which didn’t allow to see prohibited sightseeing: wild places in Sevan Lake, geysers in Jermuk and etc (for extra fee).
What would you add to your trip? I recommend to add in the tour programme more visits to natural, prohibited places even for extra fee. People will be happy to visit them with smaller group.
