Day 1

  • Arrival in Yerevan, transfer to the hotel
  • City tour around pink-stone Yerevan – 2795 year- old capital of Armenia

 

Day 2

  • Preparation of motorcycles
  • Trip to the monastery of Geghard, renowned for its amazing rocky architecture and stunning surrounding landscapes
  • Drive to Garni temple – the only surviving example of the Hellenistic architecture
  • Visit to the famous ruins of Zvartnots temple
  • The trip continues to the city of Echmiadzin – the “must-see” religious center of all Armenians
  • Overnight in the village of Byurakan, at the North Star hotel

 

Day 3

  • Visit to the highest mountain in Armenia – Aragats (4090 m)
  • Stop at the monument to the Armenian alphabet consisting of 39 letters made of tuff
  • Overnight at Tufenkian Avan Dzoraget Hotel

 

Day 4

  • The day will begin with a trip to the monastery of Haghpat included into UNESCO World Heritage List
  • Continuation of the trip to the picturesque cozy resort town of Dilijan
  • Overnight in Dilijan, at Tufenkian Old Dilijan Hotel

 

Day 5

  • A trip to the one of the highest and most beautiful freshwater lakes in the world – Lake Sevan
  • Stop in the village Tsapatagh for the night at Tufenkian Marak Tsapatagh Hotel

 

Day 6

  • We will wend our way through the village Tsovak to the Selim Pass, where the famous Silk Road passed in the ancient times
  • Here we will stop to see Selim caravanserai, which was once lodging for the night for caravans passing through Armenia
  • Overnight at Nairi Hotel in the picturesque town of Jermuk, which is famous for its healing mineral waters

 

Day 7

  • In the morning, we will leave for beautiful town of Sisian (40 km off-road)
  • Visit to the ancient Karahunj observatory – an old megalithic complex
  • The trip continues to Goris, where we will arrange an overnight in Mirhav Hotel

 

Day 8

  • The day will start with a drive to the mysterious cave city of Khndzoresk, where centuries ago the ancient inhabitants lived and hid
  • The journey continues towards Tatev monastery – one of the great examples of medieval architecture
  • At the end of the day, we will stop in the city of Kapan for the overnight at M & Max Hotel

 

Day 9

  • Travel through the mountain serpentines to the border with Iran
  • Overnight in Goris at Mirhav Hotel

 

Day 10

  • Keep the way to Noravank monastery, built in the 13th century in the valley of red rocks
  • Next, the visit to the village of Areni, known for its vineyards and winemaking
  • The last stop will be at the monastery of Khor Virap, which offers a magnificent view of Mount Ararat – the symbol of Armenia
  • Return to Yerevan

 

Day 11

  • Transfer to the airport, departure
