Group Tour to Armenia – 6 days

Day 1 – Sunday

  • Arrival at the airport in Yerevan
  • Free time for exploring the city

Day 2 – Monday

  • Trip to the village of Garni where is located the only surviving example of the Hellenistic architecture in the region – the temple of Garni.
  • Visit to Geghard Monastery – the unique creation of Armenian architecture the part of which is carved in the rock. Geghard is a UNESCO Heritage object in Armenia
  • Master-class of Armenian national bread lavash baking
  • Trip to Tsakhkadzor – the cozy resort town which is especially popular in winter due to the excellent conditions for skiing. Here you will have an excursion to Kecharis Monastery.

Day 3 – Tuesday

  • The day will start with a trip to the Noravank monastery located in the beautiful gorge, famous for its red cliffs.
  • Tour to Tatev monastery. This monastic complex is considered the pearl of Armenian medieval architecture. You can get it by the cable car “Wings of Tatev”, which is the longest in the world and is included in the Guinness Book of Records.
  • The next stop – Karahunj complex(Armenian Stonehenge), formed by stone structures of the third millennium BC. The most common version for its function states that Karahunj once served as an observatory.

Day 4 – Wednesday

  • Drive to amazing Lake Sevan. Here you will climb the high hill, where proudly stands the monastery of Sevanavank. It offers a breathtaking view of the lake and the surrounding beauties.
  • The tour continues to the town of Dilijan, known for its healing, filled with pine aromas air. Here you will stroll around the historic part of the town.
  • After dinner, you will visit Hagartsin Monastery (XI—XIII cent.) located among picturesque mountains covered with dense forest.
  • The last tour destination is the medieval monastery complex Goshavank (XII—XIII cent.)

Day 5 – Thursday

  • A sightseeing tour around Yerevan – the ancient capital of Armenia, the history of which dates to 2799 years back.
  • Stroll around the Victory Park, from the observation platform of which you can admire the panorama of the city
  • The tour will continue to the Cascade – a huge structure, a unique museum of contemporary art, and a favorite place of Yerevan residents.
  • Visit to the Museum of Erebuni which will acquaint you with the history of Yerevan
  • A walk along the main street of the city. You will see the building of the Opera and Ballet Theater, several central streets of Yerevan and the Republic Square.
  • The tour will continue to the ArArAt cognac factory where you’ll taste world-known Armenian cognac.

Day 6 – Friday

  • Transfer to the airport, departure
