Introduction

Spent your Autumn Holiday in Armenia. The tour package includes interesting excursions, visiting of picturesque corners of Armenia and useful master-class.

The tour begins with late dinner at 15:00. Please, choose the flight so that the arrival at the airport in Armenia will be not later than at 14:00. If you arrive the day before, you will have to pay 45 euro for an additional night in the hotel.
Please, take into account that the group tour has a fixed date. In case of an individual request, the price of the tour will increase if the number of people in a group is less than four people.

Day 1 - Arrival - Yerevan City Tour

Day 2 - Matenadaran - Echmiadzin - Unity Cross - Yerevan

Day 3 - Geghard - Garni - Sevan - Sevanavank - Yerevan

Geghard - Areni

After the breakfast at the hotel, you will have a trip to the scenic canyon of the Azat River. The XIII century Geghard Cave Monastery is located deep at the bottom of the canyon and is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The monastery is partially carved from the adjacent cliffs that surround it. The tour will continue by car to Garni village, where the Hellenistic-inspired Garni temple lies. Garni’s complex also possesses a royal bath which exhibits a fascinating hypocaust along with a well-preserved original mosaic tiling. Dinner will be in Garni village accompanied with traditional bread lavash baking demonstration. Then you will head to Lake Sevan, the “blue pearl of Armenia” and one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world located at 1900 meters above the sea level. The stunning hilltop view of the azure lake framed by the surrounding mountains amazes and inspires its visitors.

Guide: We have two guides - Arthur and Armine who are highly cultured and educated. Special gratitude and greetings to them! Communication with Liana (our tour organiser) was very pleasant. Many thanks to her, too.

Driver: They are professional and we like all.

Car: Transport was very comfortable for travelling.

Hotel: All hotels are excellent, besides Stepanavan hotel. I would like to spend overnight in hotel, instead of guesthouse in Ijevan.

What did you like most in your trip? Punctuality and clarity of the travel agency in organising tours, hotel levels, meals on programme (lunch), tour programmes (we had two), comfortable transport. We like the country, residents, kindness and willingness to help. We left Armenia with the desire to return again as tourists.

What didn’t you like in your trip? The only disadvantage is the missed porridge for breakfast.

What would you add to your trip? It’s very difficult to answer because of full programme of tour.
