Autumn Tour to Armenia – 4 days


Day 1

  • Arrival to Yerevan, an individual transfer from the airport
  • Lunch in the traditional Armenian restaurant
  • Return to the hotel for a rest

    After your arrival, you will be transferred to Yerevan. Lunch will be organized in a traditional Armenian restaurant. Then you will have a city tour around Yerevan, the capital of Armenia that is 2799 years old. Ancient and modern times interlace here in a unique way. During the city tour, you will walk around the center of the city with and visit Cascade, Opera and Ballet Theater building, Mashtots Avenue, Republic Square. You will feel the hospitable atmosphere and the unique charm of Yerevan.

Day 2

  • Excursion to Matenadaran – the repository of the richest manuscript collections in the world
  • Visit to the Holy See of Etchmiadzin, the religious center of all Armenians
  • Lunch in the Unity Cross
  • Return to Yerevan, shopping and visit to Vernissage souvenir fair and the grocery market for buying delicious Armenian fruits and dried fruits
  • Day 2 detailed

    The day will start with an excursion to Matenadaran – the repository of one of the richest manuscript collections in the world. The trip will continue to the Holy See of Echmiadzin, the religious center of all Armenians around the world. Here was built the first official Christian church in the world – Echmiadzin Cathedral. It is the catholicosate of the Supreme Patriarch of the Armenian Apostolic Church is located here.  Lunch will be in “Unity Cross” center. After your return to Yerevan, you will visit the souvenir fair Vernissage and the grocery market for buying delicious Armenian fruits and dried fruits.

Day 3

  • Drive to the scenic Azat River canyon where Geghard Monastery (UNESCO World Heritage Site) is located
  • The tour continues to Garni village, where the Hellenistic-inspired Garni temple lies (66 AD)
  • Lunch in Garni village
  • Trip to Lake Sevan – one of the biggest freshwater lakes in the world situated at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level
  • Visit of Sevanavank Monastery
  • Return to Yerevan
  • Day 3 detailed

    After the breakfast at the hotel, you will have a trip to the scenic canyon of the Azat River. The 13th-century Geghard Cave Monastery is located deep at the bottom of the canyon and is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The monastery is partially carved from the adjacent cliffs that surround it.  The tour will continue by car to Garni village, where the Hellenistic-inspired Garni temple lies. Garni’s complex also possesses a royal bath which exhibits a fascinating hypocaust along with a well-preserved original mosaic tiling. Dinner will be in Garni village accompanied with traditional bread lavash baking demonstration. Then you will head n to Lake Sevan, the “blue pearl of Armenia” and one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world located at 2000 meters above the sea level. The stunning hilltop view of the azure lake framed by the surrounding mountains amazes and inspires its visitors.

  • Summer tour is a small group English guided tour: Groups are up to 14 persons from different countries. Vehicle size depends on number of people. Up to 5 people travel in Minivan Mercedes Vito 7 seats. Starting from 6 – 14 persons travel in Minibus Mercedes Sprinter 17 seats.

  • The tour begins with late dinner at 15:00. Please, choose the flight so that the arrival at the airport in Armenia will be not later than at 14:00. If you arrive the day before, you will have to pay 45 euro for an additional night in the hotel.
  • Please, take into account that the group tour  has a fixed date. In case of an individual request,  the price of the tour will increase if the number of people in a group is less than four people.
